What Merge PDF does

Merge PDF combines two or more PDF files into a single document, in an order you control, without uploading anything to a server.

Merging is the most common PDF job there is: a scanned contract plus its signature page, a report split across chapters, receipts collected for an expense claim. The awkward part is rarely the merge itself — it is that most tools make you upload confidential documents to a stranger's server to do it.

BabaPDF does the merge in the browser tab you already have open. Your files are read into memory, the pages are copied into one new document, and the result is handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted, so there is no upload wait, no queue, and no copy of your document sitting in someone else's storage bucket afterwards.

Step by step

How to use Merge PDF

  1. Add your PDFs

Drop the files onto the upload area, or click browse to pick them. You can add more at any time.

  2. Put them in order

Drag any file up or down by its grip handle. The merged document follows this list exactly, top to bottom.

  3. Remove anything you do not need

Use the × on a row to drop a file from the merge without starting over.

  4. Merge and download

Click Merge. The combined PDF is built on your device and downloads immediately.

Details & limits

Merge PDF: details and limits

  • Pages are copied, not re-rendered — text stays selectable and images keep their original quality. Merging is lossless.

  • There is no file-count or size cap. The practical limit is your device's memory, since the whole job runs locally.

  • The page order is exactly the file order shown. To reorder pages inside a document, use Organize Pages after merging.

  • Interactive form fields, bookmarks and document metadata do not survive the merge: the result is a new document built from your pages, and those belong to the old files rather than to any page. Flatten forms first if their filled values matter.
