BabaPDF is a free collection of PDF tools that run entirely in your web browser. Nothing you open is ever uploaded.
Why we built it
Most online PDF tools work by uploading your document to a server, processing it there, and sending it back. That means your files — contracts, IDs, medical records, whatever they are — leave your control, if only for a moment. BabaPDF takes the opposite approach: every tool runs as code inside your browser, so your files never leave your device.
How it works
When you open a tool and select a file, the file is read directly by your browser and processed with client-side JavaScript. There is no server that receives your document — the work happens on your own machine, using your own processor and memory.
How it stays free
Because it costs almost nothing to run. Every tool executes on your own device, so there are no servers doing the work, no per-file compute to pay for, and no storage bills — the site is just static files. That's the whole trick: the architecture that keeps your documents private is the same one that makes BabaPDF cheap enough to give away.
There are no ads, no trackers, no accounts and nothing to upsell. We never trade access to your files for revenue — because we never have access to them in the first place.
No accounts, ever
There is nothing to sign up for. We don't store your files, so there is nothing to log into and no data of yours to protect from a breach. Open a tool, do your thing, close the tab.
